I designed an update for one of SIMMS' best-selling boots, which deepened my understanding of wading and consumer needs. Collaborating with Bob Downs, a dedicated fisherman, we aimed to create a durable, lightweight offering from Simms.
THE CHALLENGE
MY CONTRIBUTION
I developed new features for wading boots that had never been done before. I used a "less is more" design approach, creating a 3D molded toe cap. I also used 3D software to clearly show my design ideas and speed up the development process.
